Brendan’s journey with Alkoomi began in 2015 when he was first introduced to the organisation as a participant. With a background as an Industrial Fabrication Operations Manager, he often grappled with the human side of safety statistics, recognising that behind every number was a person. Alkoomi provided him with not only a platform but also the language and tools to transform his commitment to ensuring everyone goes home safe and well every day into meaningful action.
In early 2017, a career change led Brendan to reconnect with Paul Taylor, Alkoomi’s Founder and Managing Director. This reconnection sparked a conversation about joining the Alkoomi team. Over the next 18 months, Brendan embarked on a journey of personal and professional growth, culminating in the delivery of his first workshop in late 2018.
Since then, he has had the privilege of collaborating with extraordinary individuals involved in some of Canada’s most iconic construction projects and the industries he grew up in.
His work spans all organisational levels, from the front line to executive leadership, enabling him to contribute to leadership development and define both personal and organisational commitments, all in service of delivering extraordinary results.
Now serving as the Managing Consultant for Alkoomi Canada, Brendan continues to embrace the opportunity to develop leadership and support individuals and organisations. He works with both existing and new clients to deliver extraordinary outcomes, always prioritising the goal of ensuring everyone goes home safe and well every day.
