We gather and use certain information in order to communicate about and to provide products and services; to enable certain functions on the website; to respond to a specific enquiry; and, to facilitate our day-to-day operations. Transferring your personal data
This website is hosted and operated from the UK. The UK GDPR replaced the GDPR (EU) when the UK left the European Union (EU). The UK GDPR includes the same provisions as the previously applied GDPR.
We will never distribute your personal information for commercial gain. Alkoomi do not use cookies and the website does not include links to other sites.
As a general rule your personal information will not be transferred outside of the European Economic Area. However, you are aware that Alkoomi operates in Canada and Mexico and from time to time, and if your enquiry relates to either of those territories, your personal information will be processed by our international Associates located in Canada or Mexico as appropriate. As both countries are based outside of the EEA we have to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
In respect of transfers to Canada, we are authorised to transfer your information to our Associates in this country because Canada is a country which has been approved by the European Commission as upholding data protection law.
In respect of data transfers to our Associates in Mexico, we have a binding agreement with the Associates in Mexico and that agreement is drafted on standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission.
