COASTAL GAS LINK recently announced that 97% of the 670-kilometre Coastal GasLink project has now been installed, with mechanical completion approaching at the end of this year.
Since 2019 Alkoomi consultants have been delivering safety orientated workshops direct to the workforce and supervision of Prime contractors along the route of the pipeline, most recently this August at Hunters Creek, Little Rock, and 7-Mile camps.
As the project progresses towards completion, continuing to reach out in this way to the changing workforce demonstrates the ongoing focus of TCE in fulfilling its safety commitments and their awareness of the extra vigilance required late in the project execution.
We now see reclamation efforts ramping up, including consulting with Indigenous and local communities and planning for the local topography and native planting, all monitored over five years to ensure success.
