Personal protective equipment (PPE) at work regulations from 6 April 2022
In the UK on 6 April 2022 the Personal Protective Equipment at Work (amended) regulation 2022 came into force.
These new updated regulations extend employers duties from ’employees’ to ‘workers.’ The definition of ‘workers’ now includes both employees and those with a more casual employee relationship or who work under contract, although not those who have a ‘self-employed’ status.
