Alkoomi has been working with Imtech (now Dalkia UK) since 2021 and Steve Wignall provides some insight into the positive impact that Alkoomi has had on his people.
Like many organisations, the perception of our safety performance we very good, 95% positive response to staff and client surveys, ROSPA awards and many testimonials. However, a deeper analysis of our safety performance, including high potential incidents, revealed that we were on the ‘safety plateau’ with an ongoing risk of a serious safety incident.
Alkoomi worked in partnership with our senior leadership team to develop and implement our safety culture change programme. By combining Alkoomi’s considerable knowledge and experience in psychological safety with a culture survey of our organisation, Alkoomi we able to develop a bespoke programme of engagement which had a positive impact on all our employees.
We are now 2 years into our journey and with the support of Alkoomi we have seen tangible improvements in both our leading and lagging safety indicators.
